Today I had to take the car in to the local Vauxhall dealership as there is a known issue with the heat resistor causing fires. Therefore, i had received a letter asking me to take the car in to get it checked and fixed at Vauxhall's expense. I needed to pop into town to get a few things from a couple of places so I checked out a route on
my Viewranger account t get me into town from the dealership. I found I could follow a road that went along the Middlesbrough to Saltburn railway line for a little way, past the football stadium and into the town centre and back to the bus station, Later on I had to walk from home to the dealership to pick the car up.
Total miles today are 8.9 which is pretty good for me at the moment. I probably did 11 - 14 miles a day when I was a teenager doing my paper round morning & evening plus walking to / around school. No wonder I was skinnier then.
Here are the stats and maps and also some photos.
